Welcome!

We are the Silver State Scottish Country Dancers, located in Reno, Nevada.  We used to dance weekly throughout the year, but have been sidelined by Covid-19, and our future is fluid.  We'll update this page as the situation develops.

What is Scottish Country Dance? Mainly it's fun, but for more details, you can read about it here or see what it looks like here.  Or go here to find out more than you ever wanted to know about it.

To do Scottish Country Dance you need two feet and the ability to count to eight; you do not need a partner, experience, Scottish ancestry, or a kilt.

Come and join us!

Classes:

Previously Thursday, 7:30, at Nevada Dance Academy,1790 W 4th Street; currently in abeyance.

(Sometimes mass vacations or attacks of inertia or the bubonic plague* strike us and we don't meet; if you are coming to a class on spec, it's always a good idea to call or e-mail us beforehand, just in case.)

Join us on Facebook, or for more information, contact us.

We are better at dancing than web page design; bear with us, this is a work in progress.
